In light of recent events, it may be difficult to get my family to eat spinach lasagne. :) I am curious about one thing . . . nutmeg? I would never have thought to put nutmeg in lasagne.
In a pinch, I grab two cans of Publix organic spinach and let it drain all night in the sink in a colander. Once it's cooked, noone seems to know except me, and not only is it quick, it's samonella-free, too!

Is spinach OK to buy yet, or do you grow your own?

You just can't eat fresh spinach. I use the frozen chopped spinach and then I cook it some more.
