Oh Joy, I live in a Nanny State
California has become the 3rd state to enact a ban on being in a car, smoking with kids. While I don't smoke (asthmatic and would probably die;) I just don't like the government telling me what to do with my kids. This is a slippery slope....

amen to the slippery slope concept. less government! i bet you're glad you homeschool now or you'd be nerdparent1. lol. anyway, our kids are the same ages: 6,4,2,2 months. all girls for me; i homeschool them, too. i enjoy your blog and thought your post on shopping was good. sounds just like what we do with our kids, too.
