Still A Cool Car
I still think this car is cool. Supposedly they are reworking the transmission but will be producing all new ones by mid-March. I guess that they are going to be doing a patch. Then once they have a permanent solution they will retrofit all the ones that are already out. I do have to say, if I was going to put out $98,000 I would wait for the finished version.

i admit it, i'm not a nerd (you'd think if i could learn korean, i could learn html...or not); therefore i don't read a lot of nerdy publications (fabric yes, technology, not so much). i was fascinated by this vehicle, though. an electric sportscar they claim will get 135 mpg. i'm interested in the math for that: how long will the car last, calculate the gas consumption of your current car over that period of time and in the end is it cheaper to spend 98 grand on this car or just get a regular car. with four kids, i'm anxiously awaiting an electric minivan or 12 passenger van. i guess that's not as cool as a tesla though.
